There are some weddings that feel like they were always meant to be—and Hope & Ragan’s day was exactly that. From the very first conversation, it was clear this celebration would be something special. In a moment that still feels a little like fate, Hope and I first connected virtually while she was planning everything from Seattle, WA. When I asked the simple question, “What’s your inspiration for your big day?” her answer stopped me in my tracks.

“I want it to feel like the reception from Father of the Bride.”

Cue the laughter, a little bit of happy screaming, and the immediate realization that I had just stepped into my role as Franck Eggelhoffer. Kismet truly did its thing.

The celebration was at the iconic Metal Museum, where the reception overlooked the city they both love. Even the signature drinks told a story. Crafted with homemade syrups and fresh garnishes, they were a reflection of the care and creativity poured into every part of the day. Nothing was rushed, nothing was random—everything had intention.

And when it came time to celebrate? DJ AD made sure no one stayed in their seat for long. The dance floor quickly filled, bringing everyone together in the kind of joyful, carefree way that only the right music can. And yes—Taylor Swift made her appearance, because of course she did.

It’s hard to fully capture what it was like to watch Hope’s vision—her plans, her diagrams, her dreams—come to life. There’s something incredibly special about witnessing not just a wedding day, but the heart behind it.
