Couple Showcase: Claire & Patrick

Claire and Patrick fully embraced the magic of a Christmas wedding, and the result was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment guests arrived, it was clear this celebration was going to be something special. Every detail leaned into the holiday spirit, but with a little extra flair that made it feel intentional, stylish, and uniquely them.

The color palette set the tone beautifully, blending timeless holiday hues with refined accents that felt rich and romantic rather than overdone. At the altar, lush poinsettias framed the ceremony space. Even the dance floor got a festive upgrade with gathered mistletoe hanging overhead—an unexpected detail that brought smiles, laughter, and just the right amount of holiday whimsy throughout the night.

While the ceremony and décor were stunning, the reception is what truly made this wedding unforgettable. I can confidently say this was one of the most entertaining receptions I’ve ever had the joy of witnessing. C&P’s night unfolded like a perfectly curated experience, with each moment building on the last.

Formalities flowed seamlessly into an absolutely packed dance floor thanks to the incredible energy of Soul Shockers. Just when guests thought the party couldn’t get any better, “Party Santa” made an appearance—complete with LED hats for the Bride & Groom—taking the party to a whole new level. The surprises didn’t stop there. A late-night Taco Bell snack made its way onto the scene (because yes, that’s always a hit), keeping everyone fueled and dancing well into the night.

To close things out in true New Orleans–style fashion, Lucky 7 Brass Band joined forces with Soul Shockers for an epic collaboration that had guests jamming until the very end. The night concluded with a Second Line, leading everyone straight out of the reception and into the after-party—hands down one of the most fun and memorable exits I’ve seen.

On a personal note, working with Claire and Patrick meant so much to me. I had the pleasure of meeting Katie, the mother of the bride, during my time at Hutchison School—my last role before stepping fully into wedding planning—and seeing so many familiar faces from that chapter of my life made this day even more meaningful. It felt incredibly full-circle to be celebrating love, community, and growth both personally and professionally.
