Couple Showcase: Kami & Jack

It was a drizzly October day, but Kami and Jack couldn't have shined any brighter. Cheesy, I know- but when you see how these two look at each other, you’ll understand!

All weddings are beautiful, but some are timeless. And every once in a while, you have one that feels like it belongs in the final scene of your favorite romantic comedy. This was one of those weddings.

From the moment guests arrived at The Kent, there was a feeling you couldn't quite put into words. They walked into a classic yet modern set up. Elegant without feeling overdone, romantic in all the best ways, and filled with the kind of joy that buzzes throughout the space.

One of our favorite parts was how every detail worked together to connect each piece of the design to create a space that felt effortlessly sophisticated.

Mahaffey Event & Tent Rentals helped transform the venue with a stunning black-and-white checkered dance floor that immediately became the heart of the reception. Bistro lights stretched overhead, casting the warmest glow across the room, while cozy lounge furniture invited guests to settle in, catch up, and soak in every moment of the celebration.

Kami's vision was timeless with a modern edge, and we loved bringing that to life through intentional details. Elegant Chair provided sleek black satin napkins that perfectly complemented her contemporary black accents, while Kacie Cooper created crisp white and green floral arrangements that felt fresh, refined, and beautifully understated. Every design choice had a purpose, and together they created a celebration that felt both elevated and incredibly inviting.

Of course, beautiful design deserves to be beautifully documented.

Shelby and Rick of S&R John Photography captured every meaningful glance, joyful laugh, and quiet in-between moment with so much care. Having a photography and videography team that understands how to tell a story is such a gift, and they preserved this wedding in a way that allows Kami and Jack to relive every emotion for years to come. And their sense of humor definitely added to the experience for us all!

As gorgeous as the details were, our favorite moments had nothing to do with décor.

Near the end of the evening, while guests waited just outside the reception space, Kami and Jack shared a private last dance together. With Jason Aldean's "You Make It Easy" playing in the background, they sang every word to one another, completely wrapped up in the moment.

It wasn't a performance. It wasn't for the cameras. It was simply two people taking one last private moment to soak in the best day of their lives before stepping into the next chapter together.

None of the vendors in that room were safe, we were all crying by the end of it.

Meanwhile, our Infinity assistants were wrangling the guests up for a bubble send off! And because every great wedding has a little unexpected adventure, the weather had one final surprise waiting for us.

When the rain made a surprise appearance, we embraced the moment instead of fighting it. We opened the garage doors at The Kent, backed the getaway car inside (shoutout to TN Limo for being so flexible), handed guests bubble guns, and created one of the most joyful exits we've ever witnessed.

Honestly? We may never stop recommending bubble guns after this one.

Watching hundreds of bubbles swirl around Kami and Jack as they drove away felt almost magical—proof that sometimes the unexpected creates the most unforgettable memories.

Looking back, this wedding reminds us that perfection isn't about blue skies or flawless timelines (although, we do love those). It's about creating space for genuine moments, embracing whatever the day brings, and celebrating a love that's bigger than any forecast.

Kami and Jack, thank you for trusting us with one of the most meaningful days of your lives. Thank you for pouring your love into others, including us, and letting us celebrate with you.
